Established by Mr. Kamal BAWAM, the CEO, BAWAM started as a wholesaler since early 1990s, operating under wholesale trade license No. 2/26689 and MOH business permit No. 729.
And having acquired accumulated experience throughout more than a decade, BAWAM for Medicines and Medical Appliances was established in the year 2003 as an importing and distributing company.
BAWAM was registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade under trade Register No. (2005010507) on 15/11/2005, as a pharmaceutical importer supplying a range of drugs to healthcare market countrywide, registered in the Ministry of Health of Yemen since 2003. For all these years, it has dedicated itself to serve the needs of customers in the pharmaceutical and hospital segment, achieving a solid and well established reputation in the Yemeni market. BAWAM has a current customer base of more than 5,200 customers, and presence in all Yemeni governorates. BAWAM owns and manages a warehouse where stock is kept to ensure a rapid delivery to customers.
BAWAM was also registered with the Supreme Board of Drugs and Medical Appliances (MOH) as an importing and distributing company for medicines and medical supplies under license No. 435.
BAWAM was also registered as a member with the Chamber of Commerce under membership No. (19480)
Over the years, BAWAM emerged as a favorite and trusted health care provider for many sectors and layers of national consumers as well as public tenders agencies, owing to its high quality supply and distribution facilities and the skill, well-training and dedication of its highly qualified sales and marketing team.

We have a dedicated and competent Regulatory department to follow up Registration of Pharmaceuticals Companies & Products with the Supreme Board of Drugs and Medical Appliances, Ministry of Health.
Our Regulatory Team is well experienced and knowledgeable about all registration requirements and assist our partners in preparation of the required registration dossiers.
